Hello, everyone! My name is Amber and I am thrilled to announce that I will be your new ceramic instructor for this holiday season pottery class. I have been working with clay for over 10 years, and I am excited to share my passion for ceramics with all of you. As we begin this journey together, I want to give you a little background about myself. I first discovered my love for ceramics when I was just a teenager, my passion ignited during my GCSE Ceramics and A-level Art and Design courses in England—some 30 years ago! But my true renaissance with pottery began a decade back at the Hudgens Center of Art in Georgia.
Over the years, I have trained my skills through countless hours in the studio, experimenting with different techniques and styles. I have also had the privilege of learning from some incredible mentors and clay friends who have helped me expand my knowledge and understanding of this beautiful art form. Now, I am eager to pass on everything I have learned to each and every one of you. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced potter, I promise to guide you through the process of creating stunning ceramic pieces that you can be proud of. I am passionate about creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in my classes, where everyone feels comfortable to express themselves and unleash their creativity.
I believe that pottery is not just about creating beautiful objects, but also about finding joy and fulfillment in the process of making something with your own two hands. As we embark on this new holiday season pottery class, I am thrilled to have such a small group of students to work with. This will allow us to really focus on each individual’s needs and goals, and I am confident that we will all grow and learn together.
